I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Communication at Başkent University in 2006. In 2010, I completed my master’s degree in Graphic Education at Gazi University’s Institute of Educational Sciences. My thesis was titled “An Interactive CD Design for Basic Design Education in Higher Education Institutions and Faculty and Student Opinions on the Design.” In 2014, I earned my Ph.D. from the same university with a dissertation titled “Opinions of Academics, Experts, and Students on the Social Responsibility Campaign to Prevent Bread Waste.”

In 2015, I joined KTO Karatay University’s Faculty of Fine Arts and Design as an assistant professor in the Department of Graphic Design, and in 2020, I was promoted to associate professor. Between 2012 and 2014, I worked as a lecturer at Başkent University’s Faculty of Communication. Throughout my academic career, I have held various administrative roles, including Head of Department, Head of the Graduate Program, Vice Dean, and Director of Strategy and Quality Management.

My research focuses on graphic design education, social responsibility projects, typography, digital media, and visual communication design. I have contributed to academic literature through publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings, while also showcasing my work in various exhibitions. I have supervised master’s theses on topics such as digital game design, typography education, and graphic design theories. My work particularly stands out in the fields of social responsibility campaigns and digital media projects.
